The best part about doing a Mystery Quilt is putting that first block together from all those bits and pieces that you have been cutting and piecing. I was really anticipating the Grassy Creek block, as I had abandoned the suggested colors, which I do not normally do.

Frolic Blocks Completed!
I took the “Straits of Mackinac” class the end of February and I have been spinning my wheels on my quilts ever since. I have worked on “Straits of Mackinac”, the whole time feeling guilty because “Frolic” pieces are spread out all over my work area. I finally decided that I needed to concentrate on “Frolic” so that I could put it all away.

What a difference a couple of days can make! Since I got done using my laser to cut the pieces , I have gotten lots of piecing done on Frolic Mystery Quilt!
