Well, this day sure didn’t go the way I expected, but I am very happy with how I spent it and the way it came out!  My granddaughter is an RN  in a large hospital system.  She has told me how scary this whole face mask shortage is.  Yesterday her system issued a plea for people to make face masks, and emailed a pattern to the staff.   The pattern appeared to have been designed for a factory, so I rewrote the instructions to be easier for beginners.   You can find the pattern here:  Face Mask Pattern and Instructions. 

These will go on over the R95 masks, with the idea that it will keep them cleaner, and they won’t have to be changed as often.
