The Sewing and Quilt Expo Was Great!

The Sewing and Quilt Expo ended Saturday, and I have to say, I came home and fell asleep. (If you want to read more about it, click HERE.)

Tearing down the displays at the Original Sewing and Quilt Expo 2022
So much to tear down… Especially in just one hour!

Sunday I rested and mentally processed all that had transpired.   I met so many wonderful people… Pins and Needles Sewing Center employees, sewing machine company reps, other exhibitors, and people who stopped by to say hello!   I made a new friend who stopped by the booth and we had a fun conversation and when we friended each other on Facebook, I found out she was the cousin of a friend of decades of years.

The booth across from me were sweethearts with beautiful things.  If you are ever in Jefferson City, TN, make sure to stop by Little Women Quilt Shop and say hello!  (I thought I had a photo of their booth, but I took it with their camera!)

Probably the most fun story is the meeting of the vivacious and very bright manager of one of the Pins and Needles stores.  She was obviously  from a different country of origin, and when I asked about it, it was a small country that my daughter had spent the summer in when she was in college.  The manager was so excited that I knew about her country, my daughter was so excited that I was with someone from that country, and it made for many fun exchanges when we had a chance to chat.   There were short snippets of that, but not many.  The show was very busy with much energy.

Bin of kits and some samples
This is all that remains!

The bin in the photo?   That is all that came home with me from the Sewing and Quilt Expo!

I will be at the Tree City Quilt Guild‘s show next week in Wooster OH.  The show is April 22 & 23 at 3100 Oak Hill Rd, Wooster OH.  If you attend, please stop by and say hello!  Now it is time to get moving and cut more kits!
